Freedom Flight was looking for an updated image that would be in touch with their vision of providing charitable air transportation for humanitarian flight missions. Freedom Flight needed a website that would immerse the user in the organization and lead to an increase in donations or sponsorships. The client also requested the use of video to provide the emotional connection that a cinematic experience provides.
To meet the challenges this project possessed we recommended the use of a hybrid Flash® / HTML site that incorporates the use of the Macromedia® Flash® video format. The new image is in touch with their vision and provides an uncluttered, airy feel that mimes the emotion of flight. To help capture this we recommended the use of Flash® video as it provides a seamless solution for the incorporation of video into a project. The widespread availability of the Macromedia® Flash® Player means that the content would be available to the audience immediately without the need for additional plug-ins. Additionally, the site was developed for simple maintenance using Macromedia® Contribute™, allowing the site owners to keep the content current without adding cost.
