CLM was looking for a site that would act as a hub for the numerous Web sites they operate; giving Christian professors the assistance they need to integrate their faith into their lives and teaching. Increasing awareness of the organization was a major factor in the redesign. CLM was suffering from a lack of identity; many professors using the CLM Web sites did not know about CLM or of their existence. The site was to consist of over 80 pages of news, resources, articles, links and help.
The complex site structure dictated that the design be clean and uncluttered; a paper effect was adopted to emulate elements of academia. Browsing a site of this size required an intuitive system of navigation where minimal clicking is required. To address this challenge we recommended the use of a Flash® navigation system. This allows for almost any page in the site to be accessed with one click.
Maintenance of a site this complex can be daunting, keeping fresh content would require large time requirements for the one updating the site. We set the site up to function with Macromedia® Contribute™ allowing for improved workflow and efficiency in the organization.

The new site has given CLM a separate identity from their other Web sites. The site is a more useful tool as well as greatly enhancing their professional presence on the Web.
